Hulu’s The Path axed after three seasons The drama series starring Aaron Paul, Michelle Monaghan, and Hugh Dancy will not be returning for a fourth season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Creator Jessica Goldberg revealed that the streaming service Hulu had cancelled the series after 36 widely acclaimed episodes and that though she is saddened by the decision, she is “brimming with gratitude and pride” for getting the opportunity to tell the stories of “this very strange and unique world.” Goldberg also gave a lot of credit to her producing partners and other cast and crew members for bringing the show to life and giving thanks to Hulu and Universal Television, who produced the show, for “taking a shot on this show.” The series followed a family in the center of a controversial cult as the patriarch begins to have a crisis of faith in his movement while the unofficial leader of the movement attempts to expand their influence around the world.
