BEGIN SLIDESHOW Jennifer Lopez’s Second Act moves to Christmas season The upcoming Jennifer Lopez romantic comedy Second Act from STX Films has just had its release date moved from the crowded Thanksgiving weekend to closer to the heartwarming Christmas season, according to Deadline. RELATED: Jennifer Lopez’s Second Act Poster Released The film was originally set to hit theaters on November 21 but will now be released on December 14, moving it away from the weekend packed with Ralph Breaks the Internet, Robin Hood, Creed II and Green Book to the more middle-of-the-road feature weekend that will see Mortal Engines and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse hit theaters. Second Act is a comedy in the vein of Working Girl and Maid In Manhattan.
