John Malkovich and Rupert Grint join The ABC Murders Deadline reported that John Malkovich and Rupert Grint have joined The ABC Murders, an adaptation of the Agatha Christie novel of the same name. Malkovich will take on the role of Detective Hercule Poirot with Grint playing Inspector Crome. Sarah Phelps is adapting the original classic in a three-part series drama for BBC One’s collection of Agatha Christie’s stories. The ABC Murders continues the partnership between BBC One and Agatha Christie Limited, where we will expect to see several more Christie adaptations in the future. The ABC Murders is set in the 1930s, a time when Britain is dangerously divided and suspicion and hatred are on the rise.
