Now that the trailer is out for Dredd, I think there's enough footage of the movie to safely pass judgment on the movie regardless of what director Pete Travis and writer Alex Garland may have suggested in their joint statement about withholding it until seeing the finished product in its entirety. Logan's Run, the on again, off again remake which has been associated with such names as Bryan Singer, Joel Silver, Christopher McQuarrie and James McTeigue ('V for Vendetta') appears to be back on with news that '28 Days Later' scribe Alex Garland has been brought aboard to pen the screenplay. Based upon the 1967 novel by William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson, Logan's Run was first adapted to film in a 1976 film starring Michael York and Jenny Agutter.
