A new trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man is here and if I had any doubts about the movie before, they vanished with this trailer. Check it out below. As a little bit of background, The Amazing Spider-Man is a reboot of the franchise starring Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Emma Stone as Peter's girlfriend Gwen Stacy.

"Brave" does something that no Pixar movie has done before: put a female character front and center. Princess Merida in "Brave" (voiced by "Boardwalk Empire" scene stealer Kelly Macdonald) is unlike normal Disney princesses: she's got a lilting Irish brogue, is Katniss Everdeen-y with a bow and arrow, and has no interest in finding Prince Charming -- unless Prince Charming is the key to unlocking a "beastly curse" that threatens her kingdom.

Viewers got a first glimpse of Whitney Houston's upcoming film Monday when NBC's "Today" show premiered a trailer for the much-awaited release, and a fuller clip debuted on Yahoo! Movies. A remake of the 1976 original, "Sparkle" stars Houston as the mother of three girls who form a singing group and struggle with fame and drug addiction. The trailer displayed the daughters, including "American Idol" winner Jordin Sparks, in performance. Houston is prominent throughout, at one point singing the classic gospel song "His Eye Is on the Sparrow."

The previous teasers and trailers mostly shows what happened on the alien planet when the crew of the Prometheus got there, but the new trailer actually shows some footage of what occurred on Earth before they head out to the great unknown.

A new Promotheus trailer is coming out March 17th 4 pm PST, so, per usual, Fox wants us to know about it with a teaser. There are some new footage included in this teaser, which shows mostly what happens when the crew of the Prometheus reached their destination. And they're all bad: acid attacks, explosions, sand storms, and structural unsound buildings.

The dramatic launch trailer for the third Mass Effect game shows just how awesome this game is going to be, and just how much love and care BioWare has put into the game. Building off everything that has made this series a success, Mass Effect 3 looks even more dramatic and graphically jaw-dropping than its predecessors. The story of Commander Shepard rushes forward toward the series’s epic conclusion.

A second trailer for Wrath of the Titans is out today and seeing this has revealed to me why the John Carter trailers have failed. Let's start with the main character. Perseus is half-god but that doesn't mean things will be easy for him. Those Titans he's up against look like a handful and he will need no small amount of luck to win some of those battles.

Battleship was the first movie trailer out of the gate during Super Bowl 46 but it sets the bar high from the get go. At 1 minute long, the Battleship trailer transformed me from a skeptic into a believer. The movie has transforming robots (and who doesn't like transforming robots?), alien creatures, and promises of mass mayhem all in the name of entertainment. Earth's only hope against these alien invaders and superior technology is this lone battleship and her crew somewhere out in the big blue sea.

Warner Bros. has confirmed today that the trailer for THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY will play in front of THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN when it hits theaters next week. No word on when it will hit the net, so your first chance to see it might in front of Spielberg's latest.
