The trailer for Disney's Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time will be seen in theaters on November 13th, but ComingSoon.net got a sneak peak at the upcoming preview of the epic action-adventure, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Kingsley, Gemma Arterton, Alfred Molina and Toby Kebbell.

Back in March, the company started tweeting from its first official Twitter account, iTunesTrailers. They even went so far as to highlight the account on their Apple.com Trailers page. Thanks to the suggested users list, that account now has well over 1 million followers.

Lionsgate will release the action-adventure, starring Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Eric Roberts, Dolph Lundgren, Charisma Carpenter, Giselle Itie, Brittany Murphy, David Zayas and Amin Joseph, on August 20, 2010. The film follows a team of mercenaries on a mission to overthrow a South American dictator.

Using a campaign of limited showings, social media and word-of-mouth fan buzz, the film has managed to become a breakout hit without the aid of a glitzy marketing campaign -- or even a traditional movie trailer.

Will the movie going public be able to see Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus as anything other than the last Heath ledger film? Does it matter if they don't?The way I see it, the movie gets a larger audience from trailers like this, the only one in existence that will ever read: "Academy Award Winner Heath Ledger." This just puts more pressure on the film to speak to that larger audience instead of Terry Gilliam die hards who might be more accustomed to his wild fantasy films.

James Cameron himself wasn’t happy that the Avatar online trailer preceded the Avatar Day IMAX 3-D screenings on Friday. The reason that happened, according to Fox, is that the trailer went out at the same time as the first 10 AM screenings in New Zealand on the other side of the world. It was a synchronous global release. The Apple site was so overwhelmed with clicks that it crashed at first.

With its release just weeks away and only an itty-bitty teaser under its belt, it's high time Michael Moore's "Capitalism: A Love Story" got a real trailer -- and look, one just popped up at CNN.

James Cameron’s newest creation, Avatar, isn’t due out until December, but the release of its trailer this morning on Apple’s website (and announced on Twitter) seems likely to make it perhaps the most discussed movie-not-due-out-for-4-months we’ve ever seen.

It's a big trailer morning with AVATAR making its debut and now THE WOLFMAN trailer is officially online! Despite rumors that the film is having trouble and needed some reshoots, I'm really digging this trailer. It lacks a really clear shot of the beast but you do get some transformation money shots.
