Panhandling Oklahoma Teacher Returns One Year Later

Teresa Danks — who was launched to fame after, on a whim, making a sign and panhandling for school supplies — popped the trunk of her car parked at the corner of North 193rd East Avenue and Interstate 44, the border of Tulsa and Catoosa, to show what she was supplying. It was filled with tissues and cleaning supplies, the most requested supply for teachers’ classrooms, Danks said. Danks started panhandling again on the one-year mark from the first time she hit the streets, July 19, 2017.Read more on NewsOK.com
