Northwestern University Lockdown: Man With Gun Spotted On Chicago Campus

Police at Northwestern University's Downtown campus placed the school's Rubloff Building on lockdown Wednesday morning after a man with a gun was spotted in an elevator of the building.

About 10 a.m. Wednesday, a man with a gun in his waistband was spotted in an eleventh floor elevator of the Rubloff Building on the Chicago campus, according to an alert issued on Northwestern's Web site. The building is located at 375 E. Chicago Ave.
