Thoughts On The Host (2006, Korean Monster Movie)?

After recently seeing Snowpiercer and really enjoying it it, I looked up what else the director had done, and as luck would have it, his monster film was on Netflix. Put simply, I loved it. Great monster thrills, touching character moments, and even some solid comedy. Maybe it's because I wasn't looking for it, but I don't recall seeing this movie get talked about much.
