North Perry Village is hoping that a new advisory committee will help to bolster economic development activity in the community.Village Council, at its most recent meeting, voted unanimously to approve the formation of a village Economic Development Committee.The new five-member panel, consisting of village officials and residents, is intended to "further facilitate Village Council's desire to increase economic development in the village," according to the ordinance passed by council.

Community reportThe 2018 Annual Bike Run of Sub Zero Mission will be June 24. Sub Zero Mission is looking for volunteers to be at each stop to sign riders in and record the dice roll, and there are other duties. Volunteers will assemble at 11 a.m. at Mr. Lee's, 3564 S. Ridge Road in Perry.
