The Man of Steel Teaser Trailers are Here!

Warner Bros. Pictures has released, via Yahoo! Movies, one version of the teaser trailer for director Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, coming to theaters on June 14, 2013. There is a second version of the teaser playing in theaters which features Russell Crowe's voice. The Dark Knight Rises director Christopher Nolan is producing the film.

Director Christopher Nolan is defending fans irate over negative reviews of "The Dark Knight Rises." While the final piece of Nolan's "Dark Knight" trilogy has gotten mostly positive reviews, a few critics, including The Associated Press' Christy Lemire, gave it a negative review. Fan response to those critics became so venomous on the review aggregator site RottenTomatoes.com that it suspended user comments late Monday.

Standing ovations are not unusual in screenings, especially for a movie franchise as beloved as the Christopher Nolan era Batman movies. It is given as a sign of respect to the filmmakers, and if anyone has the respect of the critics, it's Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale.
