Last night, on Fox's "American Idol," Quentin Tarantino made a special guest mentor appearance and debuted a sneak preview of never-seen-before footage from his upcoming movie, Inglourious Basterds . Below you can watch the entire clip that was "too hot to air on primetime TV" during "American Idol."

I have to start with the biggie of the presentation: DISTRICT 9, directed by Neill Blomkamp and produced by Peter Jackson… the director/producer team that should have been making a HALO movie.

During the Warner brothers presentation, after watching some really hot footage of Terminator Salvation, The Hangover and Harry Potter 6, Robert Downey Jr. introduced footage of his new movie Sherlock Holmes. It was the first time any footage had been shown anywhere.
