Seth Rogen Says Michel Gondry's Changing Up His Style For THE GREEN HORNET!

Most interestingly, it sounds like GREEN HORNET director Michel Gondry will be muting his signature handmade aesthetic in order to, presumably, deliver a more studio-friendly summer film.

This week's Ketchup includes continuing casting for Marvel's Thor, a MacGyver movie, Tom Cruise talking about Mission: Impossible IV, and new roles for Brad Pitt, Natalie Portman, Chow Yun-Fat, Kevin Costner and Tommy Lee Jones.

There was a good bit of news this about Thor, starting with the rumor that Natalie Portman is the top choice for the female. What isn't said specifically is who that female lead, but really, there's only two major female characters in the Thor story: the Asgardian sword maiden Sif (who is hard to imagine being played by the 5' 3" Portman) and the mortal...

 

Chow not yet Kato?

I was under the impression that even though Michael Gondry had taken over directing duties on THE GREEN HORNET, Stephen Chow was still going to be playing Kato. Maybe not. Cinemablend caught up with Seth Rogen at SXSW and when they asked him about it, he responded that:
"We have no 100% official Kato at this point."
Of course, Chow could still end up taking the role. It just hasn't been confirmed yet....

Marvel Entertainment announced Thursday morning it was pushing back by a year a pair of key properties in its comic-book franchises, "Thor" and "Avengers."
