Josh Schwartz gave an update on the superhero spin-off X-Men: First Class at NYCC this week to MTV News.

Widescreen Vision has posted some interesting sound bites from X-Men Origins: Wolverine producer Lauren Shuler Donner in which she mentions that Storm was included as a cameo in a scene that won't make the final cut, that the film is well under two hours and that she doesn't expect there will be many scenes not included for the DVD. 20th Century Fox has been filming additional scenes for X-Men Origins: Wolverine at the University of British Columbia and fans have snapped photos of the shooting which you can now check out online.

According to IESB's sources, those much-discussed "Wolverine" reshoots were scheduled to allow for more scenes featuring Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool.

Hugh Jackman has sent Ain't It Cool News a note about the additional filming taking place in Vancouver right now for X-Men Origins: Wolverine along with this new promo photo featuring (from left to right) Wade Wilson/Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds), Remy LeBeau/Gambit (Taylor Kitsch), Logan/Wolverine (Jackman), Victor Creed/Sabretooth (Liev Schreiber) and Silver Fox (Lynn Collins). The Gavin Hood-directed prequel opens in theaters on May 1st.
