Passengers on the US Airways flight that crash landed into the Hudson River Thursday afternoon praised the actions and courage of the pilot.

The pilot aboard U.S. Airways Flight 1549 came over the speaker system and told passengers "brace for impact." One passenger turned on his cell phone so his body could be found with its GPS tracking. Others reflected on their lives.

An investigation begins into why a passenger plane had to crash land in New York's Hudson River with 155 people on board.

The plane is partly submerged in the Hudson River, after the pilot reported engine trouble. All 146 passengers and 5 crew members were reported to have survived.
