Community leaders from cities all across Ohio recently came together at Morley Library in Painesville for the Heritage Ohio Main Street Revitalization Series.These Main Street communities heard from local speakers including Painesville City Manager Monica Irelan, Painesville Assistant City Manager Doug Lewis and Painesville City Planner Lynn White, who discussed the importance of municipalities and Main Street partnerships.

 

Eastlake recognizes two residents for community impact

Rose show being held at Holden Arboretum

The Northeastern Ohio Rose Society and Cleveland Rose Society will present their combined rose show Sept. 29-30 at the Holden Arboretum, 9500 Sperry Road in Kirtland. Open to the public at noon on both days, the show will feature all kinds of roses in over 40 exhibition classes, including hybrid teas, floribundas, climbers, shrub roses and miniatures, according to a news release.
