Edgar Allan Poe re-enactor to appear at Garfield National Historic Site

Baltimore-based actor David Keltz will return to Northeast Ohio for the ninth straight year to present "Poe in Person: An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe." His performances will take place Oct. 19-20 at the James A. Garfield National Historic Site, 8095 Mentor Ave. in Mentor.Keltz,a leading Edgar Allan Poe re-enactor, will appear as Poe in each performance, reciting Poe stories and poems completely from memory.

Homeless man arraigned on trespassing charge in Painesville

A homeless man accused of trespassing in Painesville Sept. 13 appeared in Painesville Municipal Court to face a trio of charges, including a felony trespassing offense, according to court records.Thirty-four-year-old Gary M. Luster, Jr. is charged with fourth-degree felony trespass in a habitation when a person is present or likely to be present and one second-degree misdemeanor count each of resisting arrest and obstructing official business, his arraignment paperwork confirms.

Families can play a#xa0;western-themed, super-sized game of Clue at 6 p.m., Oct. 4, at Mentor Public Library's Main Branch, 8215 Mentor Ave. in Mentor.Families can work together to solve the crime and catch the person who robbed The First Western Bank, according to a news release.
