Miami-Dade Police are investigating the Tuesday morning shooting in Homestead on a private bus for a Miami-area charter school. Sesame Workshop says puppeteer Kevin Clash denies the charges, which were first made in June by the alleged partner, who by then was 23.

Two Texas sisters, ages 12 and 10, run in some of the most grueling races in the nation, but doctors say they are not in danger despite how young they are... The national championship trail run was held on a course both grueling and beautiful, more than 13 miles through the mountains near the Great Salt Lake. Most of it was an unrelenting up-and-down, the path often hugging ridges along a steep plunge, curling through a forest of scrub oak, white pine and red maple. The elevation hit a lung-busting 7,300 feet.

 

Homeland Security worker charged with soliciting kids on Facebook

A 43-year-old Department of Homeland Security worker allegedly used Facebook to solicit more than 70 area children for sexual acts, according to authorities. Robert B. Rennie Jr., a Loudoun County resident, was charged Oct. 24 with five counts of using a computer to solicit a child under the age of 15, after a school resource officer was tipped off to suspicious activity on a Mercer Middle School student's Facebook page.

 

Trick-or-treaters given cocaine
